Derangements
The only Derangements we allow here at Jyhad by Night (JbN) are those listed on Pg. 290 - 293, V20. The majority of them are well defined, but there are a few ways we enforce them here at JbN that I would like to go over as we have encountered them in the Chronicle.
Paranoia: A paranoid individual doesn't have to be your average tin-foil hat guy, but should have some understanding of what makes them paranoid. Certain things will trigger this individual and when it does you had better stand back. You'll need to figure out what exactly makes them paranoid and why they find what they do suspicious. While this could be anything, it needs to be something personal to your Character. Maybe its the Elders taking control of the Jyhad and they see suspicion anytime someone asks them to do something they don't think they should or maybe called in a boon they previously didn't agree to. However you want to rationalize it, you need to figure out what your Character finds suspicious and why for the sake of playing out this Derangement.
Sanguinary Animism: Here at JbN, we conduct feeding rolls to determine how much blood is in your Character's blood pool. This represents your Character feeding on Mortals. With this Derangement; you will then need to roll Willpower, Difficulty 6 if your hunting roll is successful. (Failure obviously still wastes your Character's time as they haven't tasted blood.) Should you Botch the feeding roll, you will roll Willpower, Difficulty 9 and receive 1BP from your hunt. Feeding in a scene narratively speaking will draw standard rolls per Pg. 292 - 293, V20.
